Fight against anaemia

To address the worrying problem of anaemia primarily caused due to malnutrition among the city’s slum children, Niramay has carried out a study to identify the root cause of the issue. It has carried out haemogram check-ups in two of the city’s large slums for all boys aged 1-6 years and girls aged 1-16 years. Based on expert analysis of the findings, Niramay has undertaken specialised orientation, counselling, corrective and preventive measures for parents and children.
